Herbal Medicine has been used for the treatment of illness and symptomatic care, in the optimization of health and prevention of disease. Used as a standalone therapy or as a potent adjunct to acupuncture treatment, Herbal Medicine can be used to strengthen, build and support the body or to treat acute conditions such as cold, fever and pain. There are over 6,000 medicinal substances (plant, animal, and mineral substances).  A formula will be prescribed with consideration of the traditional use, dose, client preferences, contraindications and potential drug interactions with conventional medicine in mind.

Is Herbal Medicine Safe?

Products are sourced from eco-sensitive farmers and are routinely tested for soil and water quality and safety. They are rigorously tested for pesticides, heavy metals, fungus, mold and bacteria and do not include any endangered animals or protected species. Vegan and Vegetarian alternatives are available. They do not contain any harsh chemicals, alcohol or preservatives. All Herbal Medicine is FDA approved.

The formula  will often be modified to reflect changes and improvements in your condition or target new concerns. The formula is a combination of individual herbs that will be synergistic (enhance therapeutic effect) and minimize the occurrence of side effects.

How Long Will I Need to Take Herbal Medicine?
