MOXIBUSTION

Is a treatment that uses the herb mugwort (Artemisia Vulgaris). Used to warm acupuncture points, moxibustion can be applied on the handle of a needle, above the skin, or on salt or a slice of ginger. A heat lamp or warming liniments may be used instead of moxibustion.

GRASTON TECHNIQUE THERAPY

The Graston Technique is a type of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) which is useful for injury recovery and the treatment of movement dysfunction caused by pain or changes to the soft tissue structures (muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia).
